New shirt? Check. Cufflinks? Check. A gift for the Best Man? Check.

Even though the forecast was for a sunny day with a top of 24 degrees, the morning was extremely gloomy, with skies remaining overcast until well into the late afternoon. Nevertheless, I did the laundry...was going to do two rounds but Aeris just asked for one round to be done. Which is just as well because the clothes weren't dry by the time I took them in during the early evening and I had to put them in the dryer.

We went to Knox City SC...haven't been there for at least a good two to three months! And we ended up staying there for a good six hours just shopping! Had a couple of things we needed to purchase there: a new shirt for the wedding, cufflinks, and also a present for my Best Man. So the first couple of hours was us just going from shop to shop "scouting" these items; first Myer, then to all the other Men's Apparel/clothes shops and jewellery shops for the shirt and cufflinks.

Was very hungry so we went to Nudel for lunch...a very long time since we last ate there! Went window shopping at JB Hi-Fi but didn't really have anything to buy. Had to resist the temptation to buy new games...games that I wouldn't have time to play! And I think we've got enough unwatched and unopened DVDs at the moment. Still, we'll need to go back to JB Hi-Fi again in a couple of weeks to compare prices of a new GPS that I'm buying so that my uncles can use when they arrive here for the wedding.

More shopping ensued and I made a decision to get two new shirts AND a new belt at one of the last shops we went to: Connor. They had a pretty nice pair of cufflinks too, but it didn't come with one of the tie pins, so I decided to give that a miss instead because Beville's had a cufflink and tie pin set which I really liked, though it was more expensive. Maybe in the future. We were also looking for Geelong FC cufflinks at the AFL shop but they didn't seem to have them. Ah well!

Went to Myer to check out the cufflinks (we'd neglected to do that when we went looking for shirts in the morning) and I decided to get the cufflinks and tie pin set from Myer. Grocery shopping at Coles after that, then we went to Harris Scarfe and Aeris purchased a slow cooker that she had seen from the ads.

Was thoroughly exhausted when we got back home! I had decided to cook for my meals over the week and I decided on making kebabs with Lebanese bread I had purchased from Coles. Made a beef/chicken mince with bacon and onions mix to use for the filling for the "kebab wraps" and it took me nearly two hours to finish cooking everything! It'll be good and last me a total of six meals, including dinner!

Had a fairly quiet night reading and watching more episodes of Seinfeld and had a good night's sleep after such a long weekend!
